@OnePlus I REALLY want a One Plus One but keep reading reviews about low volume in ear piece which is a HUGE deal for me. Is this gonna be fixable ?

Most of the reviews I've seen said it was a software issue. Then again, it is somewhat new software on a new phone. Which will be fixed in due time. Guaranteed updates for at least 2 years, I'll take that.

Volume issues can easily be tweaked with software changes. We learnt this with the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 4.
In my world, the phone's least used feature is....the phone... so it's not a deal breaker to me.

Yes the earpiece volume could be corrected with software updates. Don't worry guys. Before we could find it out many reviewers have mentioned it and OnePlus have taken note of it

Would they potentially dole out a software update within the next few batches of invites/purchases or rather wait until the phone's availability is expanded to the general public?

I just hope the CM team keeps doing updates to the OP over the next year or two, or a way to go to normal CM on stock android after they quit doing separate updates

It's not just the ear-peace volume. Mine has low speakerphone volume and also can't seem to drive any headphones very loud at all. At max volume, any headphones are barely at normal listening volume. Maybe as loud as I would want to listen in a library or somewhere slightly louder, but it can't really support a gym setting...
