Low internal storage.

After deleting everything I possibly could, I end up with a lot less space than I expected. Is this normal? I am running the latest version of exodus, along with twrp. Also, although this is a pretty noobish question, how would I delete everything other than the OS, so I can have a completely reset installation? Thanks.

It is normal because the phone requires so much space for the operating system. You could try resetting the phone if you want.

Hold the power button and volume down while it's shut and it will prompt you with options and you would be able to delete everything

Well, like an idiot I wiped the os. XD

But... I had a back up so its fine. But how do I delete all of the extra data, and return my rom to a stock state. Right now, I have all of my downloads and apps from about 2 days ago. And even after doing a factory reset, all of that stuff is still there. So I need to know how to wipe all of my data of of there, but keep the os.

install twrp recovery and you can wipe all you want, just don't wipe OTG/USB.

That's better than good. Make sure your photos are backed up on the cloud.

That's normal. And it annoys me to no end when devices with advertised 64GB have less than 64GB of usable space. Time to add that to my pet peeves list. And if you want to delete everything other than the OS in TWRP delete internal storage or something.

To bad there's no SD card, much easier to get yourself up and running with just re-installing the apps your need, and even more so for the data inside your apps, programs like AndChat can take time getting then all reset. A simple back up your server settings to the SD card saves time.

internal storage is just like HDD in computer. if HDD is 1GB, you can never have the whole 1GB in use. Formatting it (which makes is usable) takes part of the storage space and there's nothing can be done about it. even if you have, let say, 64GB sd card, you don't actually have 64GB usable space. that's how things work. :)

19 GB is more than enough cushion for me. I'll start trimming things down once I get down to like 5 or 10 gb
