I am having 2 mobiles of oneplus.

First is oneplus 3 and second is oneplus 7T pro Mclaren edition.

And when downloading from Mclaren it's giving very low speed almost half speed comparatively oneplus 3.

I am having 50 Mbps speed in home. So when I download something from oneplus 3 it's giving speed near by 6mbps and when downloading from Mclaren 7T pro it's giving 2.5 to 3 mbps.

If this is the problem then do solve it or exchange my mobile. Because if Oneplus itself says never settle then how can I settle in low speed.

I do need an urgent response on this or else I will have to do something with this Mclaren Model.

I have show the result of it below.
My new Mclaren Edition 7T pro and My old Oneplus 3.

How do you know it that problem is going to get solved after trying one more time? And do you think so I have posted this over here just after trying for once only? But still if you said me to try it for once more and I did it and the result is same.

    Single Band.
But I am asking, does it really matter? Cause if 3 years old model oneplus 3 can get more internet speed on single band router then why oneplus 7T pro Mclaren edition can not get that much speed if it is so upgraded than Oneplus 3?

    don't compare like this !...
15 days back i was using OnePlus 6T and i had a 50mbps plan and a single band router !
and i used to get max of 35mbps , but than moved to OnePlus 7 and aame router same plan but speed shocked me ....i am getting 53 mbps !....

thats why i am saying , you have best modem chipset in your processor , keep calm may be something else is the culprit not the your beast

it works perfectly fine for me. it might be your wifi band. with too many routers in the vicinity the wifi signal strength reduces too.

    best regards

Im having network issues with McLaren Edition too. I bought it on launch day from Tmobile. I keep getting inconsistent speeds, it drops drom 5g to 4glte and sometimes to H. I get it that 5g is barely rolling out but I feel like 4glte as the backup network should be goo too.

I logged a bug and got a response that the Dev team is working on the fix. (7T). This is a known issue. There is WiFi disconnection in 5GHz band along with considerable speed drop.
