Same issue here with 6T. I even tried to rollback to 9.0.16 but no chance since unrooted. Any solution on the horizon?

I am facing the same issue with my airpods. But my friend's airpods are working fine with my Oneplus 6t. So I don't know if the problem is with the airpods or the compatibility problem between airpods and oneplus

This solution worked great for me and now I have a loud volume when it's a little over half way of the max volume

press the button on the back of AirPods till the light blinking turns red and reset it..give it another try...this happened because connecting between Android and ios messes up the max volume

I have updated my Oneplus 6T with beta version of Android 10. It works. The original sound volume is back on my airpods. Just try it.

You just need to download the beta version of Android 10 and copy it to the root folder. Go to setting - system update - press the setting icon on the top right - press on local upgrade and install the same. Nothing will happen to your existing data. It is a normal OTA upgrade.
Beta version might have some bugs. Till now it is working fine for me.
Let me know if any more queries.

It's true, I can confirm I have the same issue with my aipods 2 since that Damn update. I doubt oneplus did it on purpose to force sales of their bullets which is not wireless. They pushed two updates since then and no fix coming for it. I tried in on different android phones and it works as loud as on iPhone. So basically it is a software bug that should be reported to oneplus..

I have a OnePlus 6T on the Android 10 beta. I've tried multiple times the Forget, Reset & Repair, also with and without Sync absolute volume and it didn't work, but I manage to fix them, at least for the moment, by connecting them to my iPad, raising the volume to maximum, and then connecting them to my One Plus. They seem to work ok now, even after I've connected and disconnected them from my One Plus multiple times in the last 24 hours.

I have one plus 6 and I have the same issue, my airpods worked perfectly fine until about few weeks ago and now the volume is just not loud enough. I have tried everything on this thread *multiple* times and no luck. One plus should really fix this issue it's really frustrating

I had got every oneplus since oneplus 3T.

That was the last phone wich had a good sound volume over bluetooth or even minijack with the usb-c cable.

You may find a hundred of threads in this forum.

You may also check it, pluging it to a sound reciver with EQ graphical lines (check it with both BT and cable). At max power the oneplus 6T only have a line or two (5-10%) of input power, so the volume is pretty low

    Its a crap.
