After updating to Android 9, it seems there's been a decrease in the speaker volume. Felt it while YouTube outdoors. Earlier I could hear the music without much effort but now the music is barely audible for the same video

    Hello Team,

After recent update to Android 9 with Oxygen 9.0 I am facing low volume for Media.
Even with full volume and ear phones on volume seems to be very low like it's playing with 2/3 of it's previous volume.

I am heavy user of songs, watch video songs and movies.
Due to low volume for Media I lost interest in hearing songs while traveling.

I am using OnePlus6 and this issue has been noticed post Android 9 (Android Pie) update since 5 days back.

Can anyone suggest solution for it? I tried all the settings but no luck.
Looking forward for a immediate fix.

    Thanks in advance [e]1f60a[/e]

    Regards,
    chethan

thank you for the confirmation.. does the same team collect information from everyone who face the same issue? Can I expect the same to be collected from my phone?

Any idea when will the fix be implemented?

so I am new to the OnePlus community, I just purchase the OnePlus 60 yesterday. I have a pair of beats headphones running on Bluetooth and I do find that the volume is noticeably lower than what I was used to

yes, it's very low.. However OnePlus development team will contact you for further details.. you just need to follow the steps they have provided.. and send the file to them..
note that the estimated reply from development team cannot be expected in near time.. when I asked them, got an answer "no ETA for the solution"..

so u can wait for their request to pop up in your inbox and proceed further accordingly..

    all the best..

    Cheers [e]1f37b[/e]

Bought the One Plus 6T and installed yesterday. Sad to report a pathetic performance. V low volume from speaker.

During setup and installation phone heated up.

Didn't expect this. Is there a fix?

    Hi.
I'm also concerned by this annoying blue tooth bug.
Sometime, there's so much noise around me that the maximum volume of my wireless bullets isn't enough [e]1f633[/e]
By the way, I'm not this kind of user that listen music to loud, so, I'm talking about a very very low volume.

I'm using the classic OxygeneOS (no beta and up to date) on my OP6, without any particular and tiers volume or blue tooth application.

May I suggest to get the headphones verified... coz I haven't faced this issue at all... I use boats wireless headphones and boats earphones.. wired...

There might also be another explanation... if you are listening to old songs... I have observed them to have low volume... newer songs don't give me any problems as such... even when I'm listening online...

I'm using Google Music daily, that means the streaming media is always the same, with a constant volume level.

May I suggest to test with a different set of headphones... also maybe try newer songs... and check your internet speed too...
