Does anyone know what this exclamation point means next to the LTE signal strength? ATT was good but recently something has happened and the connection is horrible. Any idea how to further trouble shoot?

Did you reset your network settings or contact ATT?

Did you try your sim in another phone or did you try another sim?

I don't have another sim. My wife's iPhone X is having issues sending and receiving texts. I would like to know how to see what that error means or read some logs that show errors.

The issue is intermittent. Sometimes I have cellular data over LTE, although, very slow. Sometimes the exclamation point and no data.

Thanks. You're telling me how to make the issue go away. The original post is about how I can find out what this error means. Obviously, Oxygen OS detects an issue. I want to see more about what issue it has found. The apps and diagnostics I've seen are not giving any more info.

Tried the logging and get some errors when the phone connects on LTE. No silver bullet there.

Called AT&T and they said they've upgraded my home tower to 5G and since they categorize the OnePlus 6 as a 3G device it's probably not supported. So I think I'm out of luck using the OnePlus 6 on AT&T.

However, and this is a big however. My wife's iPhone X has recently stopped working. Perhaps there are issues with the 5G upgrade breaking existing services.
