I'm starting to suspect that this is an issue with the antenna. I was very close to a mast and the connection was fine but at home (which used to be able to get LTE quite easily on my OPO) I just can't get LTE, it drops down to H. It was a similar story in a couple of other areas where I used to get LTE on the OPO but can't now with the OP3.
Sigh, this is frustrating. Hardware problem?
    - I bought mine on launch day and it's running OS 3.2.1

Everything appears back to normal this morning. Been using the dual sim feature and it seems the issue is on three side rather than the one plus. A quick one hour call to three and they confirm they experienced mast issues yesterday. Just had to coincide with me updating my phone.

I also saw the problem today.

My OP3 switched from LTE to H whereas my OPO continued with a good LTE signal. I re-booted the OP3 and it remained on H. Both handsets on 3UK and OP3 on 3.2.1.

    Hope this gets fixed soon.

Im also having this problem with Three UK, cant get any LTE, it stays on for about 10 seconds after switching it, unstable H which cuts out all of the time. The main reason I got the phone was for 4g.

When I first started using the phone speeds seemed okay but recently they've been horrible.

Currently getting 0.67 Mbps download with LTE connected.

Popped the sim card back into my Galaxy S6 and it went up-to 12 Mbps which is normal here.

Any suggestions on why there is such a huge difference, settings all appear to be the same.

Not to rain on your parade its happening with my OP2 also. I think its a Three problem at the moment and not necessarily the phone itself

This must be something happening locally, no idea. I'm 3 network 4g and am full bars, getting 81mb download, 32mb upload.

All is well with me on three.
1st test I was closer to a mast with full signal strength.
At home with 1less than full I usually get about 30mb download.
One thing I do notice with the OP3 is that signal strength for both LTE & Wi-Fi is lower than in my old Nexus 5

Is it just the bar indicator you are going by? I suppose you would need specific software to test the actual signal strength? Actually, thinking about it, is it viewable normally?

    ???

EDIT - It is viewable via About Phone - Status - Sim Status - Signal Strength.

Mine is -92 dBm 47 asu, whatever that means. I am pretty near a mast to be fair, South East London.

    Three, currently in Cardiff.

if it's a network issue why does it seem to only effect the OnePlus 3 and not the Galaxy S6?

Yes I was about to edit my post - that doesn't add up. Have you switched over Sims more than once to double-check?

Could be hardware issue or maybe more likely software bug if yes.

I'm guessing it's software, like I said the speeds seemed fine when I first started using the phone.

Could be related to the updates (3.2.0/3.2.1) I guess, I don't want to do another factory reset again. :-(

    -109 dBm 31 asu

In Cardiff city centre so I wouldn't have thought signal would be an issue.
