Network/Connectivity LTE not connecting on Freedom Mobile (Canada)

    I work for freedom mobile, and we use band 4 and band 66 for LTE, but the phone will not detect the network at all.

    This seems to be similar to the issue that the op5 had on our network, but was fixed last year.

    Edit: seems to be fixed! Thanks to the agent that reached out to me.

    OP5 was connecting to network no problem, but did not go to 4G/LTE it was always on 3G or H+.
    If you work for freedom, tell them to make Wifi Calling work on Oneplus devices... :D

    The rep that reached out to me had some instructions to turn on developer logs, and even though it shouldn't have done anything, it seemed to make LTE work lol.

    Just make sure that your preferred network type is set to 2g/3g/4g and you should be all right, otherwise maybe visit your local carrier's store
