    Hi all.

Wondering if I can ask a question about my OP3.

I've had my OP3 for a few days now, and have been monitoring the LTE signal I'm getting.

The LTE signal seems NOT to be as good as it was with my OPO.

It keeps switching from 3G to LTE and back again throughout the day, and I'm using the same SIM as I was in my old OPO.

Using the OPO I would get LTE almost everywhere I went around the UK.

Now I mainly get just 3G, with only bits of LTE here and there.

Is this to do with the modem software in the OS? If so, is it likely to get better with OS updates?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Not sure.....but I know some all metal phones don't get as good of a signal, may not be the case, but it's a thought.
You did set your preferred network?

Don't forget all the bad weather we have been having the last 10 days or so, it's been pure hell with Satellite and Terrestrial TV in my part of the country.
See how it goes upto day 13 of having the phone, if it still ain't much kop you have a decision to make keep it or return it.

I am facing the same issue in the US ( T-Mobile) Check mine:

It keeps switching from LTE to 4g+ in the status bar and the speed is bad

I have tmo as well and will have to keep an eye on that. I currently am using an iPhone and we just got lte on my area this past fall. Even as recently as this week my lte connection drops to 4g and back randomly...I figured for myself it's the network in the area still having growing pains

I'm having the exact same issue, my phone not being usable at work. I just submitted a RMA. Can't have a phone with no signal. I have a Nexus 6p with me as well and absolutely no problems with it.

I am with 3 also, today i went and got a new sim card but the issue still remains. Its a shame because the phone is amazing apart from the fact i can't actually use it as a phone. If you find any thing out or find a solution please let me know.

Went from an s6 to the OP3. Where I didn't have an issue with finding LTE signal before, definitely an issue now. Switching to 3g then back to LTE corrected the issue.
