Hi, I've just placed my OnePlus 5 on a bunch of coins and I've noticed a pretty bizarre thing: it atracted them. In fact, I'm typing this message with a one cent coin attached to the back of my phone. Can anyone explain this behavior?

    It's a "feature", don't worry about it.

That's actually kind of cool, imagine having your phone stuck to the fridge, and that sort of thing.

This is surprising. Google tells me the one cent coins are made of zinc and copper, neither of which are attracted by magnets.
Any glue residue left from IMEI sticker or could it be some kind of electro-static effect?

Maybe his phone have a Reality Stone embedded inside.

Not so surprising, 1, 2 and 5 cent eurocoins (porterillo lives in spain) are made of copper-covered steel
I think he has a magnetic phone holder :)

He did say it was a one cent coin so I assumed US.
Glue on coin or phone is my guess. [e]1f609[/e]

I don't see any glue. Furthermore, I've tried wit a 2 euro coin and it gets atracted too, although this time the force is not strong enough to keep it in place and it falls.

You should be able to do it with more or less every phone as they all generate an electromagnetic field.
