I don't notice any difference in framing if the hdr+ is switched on or off but the hdr+ works fine BTW :)

    EDIT:

If I change the resolution to 16:9 I see the same problem!!!

That seems to be a contradiction as the one who owns the apk is the same lol that is something new. Looks like we need to go to some other source and check it too:p:eek:

obvious and clearly visible without even zooming on the pic. Just look at the coushin... noise everywhere. But that is normal on OnePlus camera... they pump up the iso way too high, even in normal shots, where it's unnecesary... their camera is just bad.

Works fine on my 3T, a few glitches here and there but it works lens blur works perfect, one plus should be implementing this since it is a software base feature

Bwahahaha! That noise is the actual texture and colors of the threading in my cushions (spelled correctly). The 3t does far better than even the 5 at reducing noise (this is perplexing on the part of the OP team). I can show you tons of images. I have posted on this modded google app many times over the past few days and I really like it big time. Unlike the past Google apps presented through APK sites and other camera apps, this is the only one I am keeping. The areas where the Google app shines is in sharpness. It also does very well in panorama and photosphere modes. It lacks HQ and manual modes. It tends to darken images where they make shadows unrealistically dark or even black. But overall it takes really good images and works great in very low light. In bright light outdoors, the OP3t is more realistic to what my eyes actually see.

Anyway if you look hard enough in the actual darker areas, the Google has a bit more noise. I took a totally blown up spot of the dark areas the pictures in question. The google app is clearly sharper, but has a bit more noise happening.

These are outdoor shots. The Google app is bit sharper, but its darkening makes details less noticeable. Like on the leaves on trees and on that retaining wall in the distance. Note the 3t is taking shots in this kind of lighting that comes closest to what I actually see.

Installed on my OP3T and just proved my theory, the problem is not the hardware but the OnePlus software. Google camera makes much mutch better photos in low light conditions.
