Make your own Waterproof phone?

    I just seen this video, it seems they waterproofed their own iPhone 4 near the end of the video. is this truly possible? seems cool if you ask me.

    Just use clear coat spray paint try it let us know how it works.

    Saw this awhile ago and someone mentioned in the comments that it is not a permanent application. You have to reapply the coating once every so often to retain water repellency.

    And as to how long the coating lasts before it no longer repels water...................care to test that out?

    I think a company actually offer the waterproofing of any device...... Was something about nano hidrophobic water repellent

    This sort of technology is always there, the the main point is
    • They don't guarantee 100% works
    • You will not know when the layer is gone.
    • You have to apply in a period of time
    • IT IS DAMN EXPENSIVE!

    I have never wet and I have not tried it on a phone yet due to other surfaces I have tried it on I wouldnt recommend it!
