I always think Indonesia got more red tapes than Malaysia, unfortunately Indonesia has moved on and more efficient than Malaysia now:(

You are correct, we cannot fully blame OnePlus but then other companies (Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo etc.) didn't need so long to bring their phones here either.

I don't think it's 100% government problem because they already pass the sirim since November. The problem might be partnership with local logistic agent etcetc

Local logistic agent already have plenty experience with Xiaomi, the fine tuning shouldn't take too long.

Partly because these companies already here, some more selling method different. Once OPO launch, One Plus Two will be fast.

The fact is, we didn't get any updates after all since last so call "message to us".
And don't forget that, the have plenty experience in setting up their system (no matter set-up by them own or partnership [flipcart in India, lazada in Indonesia])

And when comes to logistic, even Xiaomi and Huawei are adopting courier service, fine tuning not a mission impossible.

Since they already pass Sirim since november last year, anything do with government?

Even Xiaomi a total new company here, can launch so fast?

Don't compare Apple/Samsung with OnePlus. Look at the phone price of OPO and the money Apple/Samsung throw in to launch their phones. Think about it.

Market is talking about India will be the first country to receive One Plus Two and OP will continue to sell OPO at discount price. So are we getting cheaper for OPO?

Which is why i state 'Xiaomi' and 'Oppo' as well. Many other smaller companies can launch here in time so why not OnePlus?

Look around you, OPPO advertisements and sponsorship. Again, money game.

Xiaomi? Successful one. They have other products for funding, not only phones.

I have to say this again, about the "launch in time", the obvious wrong step of OP is the "promise" part.

I should stop here, not going to continue. :)

India has boycotted One Plus. This problem is if I am not wrong. It was because CyanogenMod grouped with Micromax and India government thought that they should help Micromax so they boycotted One Plus.

You are correct. Oppo is huge on marketing and Xiaomi is a success story. But do note that it has been close to 5 months without an end in sight. If it takes a long time (say 6 months) for electronics/phones to get the necessary permits and certification to get into M'sia then it must be a serious setback for many companies, not just OnePlus.

Wow... Thanks for the support. :D

God knows how much time a mobile company spend to penetrate global market. For instance, mi 3 launched in December 2013, reached Malaysia in May 2014 with outdated phone and discounted price.

My opinion, other companies announced the launch date when everything is in place, but OP announced the intention to launch without the launch date. Right or wrong? You judge it. :)

EDIT: I personally think that if we pay RM2k for OPO, it will launch a lot faster. The thing is, are you willing?
