    actually, i dun mind 821. it's a decent processor. but just that after i look at everything in whole, i realised if i get G6, it'll be too many compromises that i would have to make. the worst being... no LED notification. dem...

    i was very tempted to get it yesterday from HK. it's that early drop thingy, meaning it could ship to the HK address in the next 1-2 weeks.

    but in the end, nolar... coz... i somehow feel... sth not so right with this phone.

    plus, oneplus... earlier mentioned DXO. then now... hardly any mention. many seem to say the dual camera not that up to par. i think i just wait.

    wow wow...back after a long time to see fellow members...not bad senior members still going strong!

    personally i feel if oneplus 5 had IP68 and a bigger battery, would have definitely been the best phone for the value out there.

    honestly, no idea. dun wanna spend too much on phones these days. but I wanna have at least 5.5" screen, microSD, good camera.. nice to have would be to include AMOLED screen and IP68 rating. and still be below 170g.

    i don't really change phones often. I'm still using my Note2 that's 4+ years old. prefer to get sth good that I like and will use for many years.

    The One Plus 5 sale is on today (27 June).
    After reading this thread, I feel the reception is very tepid, worse than luke-warm. The bad, old days of trying to fish for an invite to purchase the OPO was really an exhilarating experience if you managed to snap an invite or
    a frustrating one if you were still empty handed after days and days at this forum.
    Perhaps, for those of us still having the first generation, OPO, the need and urge to replace is not really there.
    OPO is still giving us the 'ommph'', running on 801.
    And we are on Marshmallow and on par with some new phones until these new phones get their Nougat at the end of 2017.
    Wonder how many have ordered the One Plus 5?

    agreed. my oneplus one is still solid... though it's used more for gaming these days -- PoGo and Hearthstone.

    hmmm... honor8pro is launching in Malaysia soon. expected to be first week of July or so.

    seems to be more value for money compared to OnePlus 5.

    Now all network bands r the same for all region models...the only difference is the charger.... so i guess brightstar is bringing either Hk or UK model rite?
