    Hello people in the Forum,
Since today morning I can't use my OPO anymore, because
it got some serious ghost touch problems.
I added a Video in which I recorded the whole thing.
Is there a way to fix it without doing a hard reset?
I already bought a OPT on monday which will arive
    about next Thursday or so.

Can someone explain how to fix the problem, or
at least how to create a Workaround so that
I can copy my files from the old to the new device.

That's actually surprising because CM12.1 shouldn't have that problem anymore. Only old versions of COS still have that issue. Any water damage? If there's no issue with the hardware, I can only suggest to wipe and reflash the ROM.

If you are rooted, do you have TWRP 2.8.6.0?
Don't know if this has something to do with Firmware, but it won't update if you have newer (or older?) TWRP.

I Dropped the Phone in Water at my holidays in Italy, but that was a month ago.
Whipe and reflash isn't an option for me, because I can't backup my files first when
    the Touchscreen acts like this.

    I'm using TWRP 2.8.7.0

It is definitely a bug in Android, because when I boot into
Recovery mode, the Touchscreen acts normal.

Manually boot into recovery. Doesn't your PC pick up your phone as an MTP device when you're in TWRP?

    Nevermind,
Issue is fixed when StyleSwap cover is Removed.
Don't know why that is helping, but it does great.

The symptoms you've said don't really add up. Some of them point at a bad flash (the ROM lost some data during download) while others point at the water damage. If you fixed it, I suppose it doesn't matter, but wow, that truly is an anomaly.

    Hello,
I have the same issue with my O+O on CM11s (not rooted) that are less than 1 year old !
It appaer often and start different app and seting tap itself during a long period...
At that time, I can't make anything and I try only to restart it more and more till I have the OK button under my finger.
Sometimes, the beginning of that problem comes with the Home button aren't working also...
It'ss like the touch part of the phone doesn't work correctly and learn all your touch but not at the correct place on the screan.
If you restart your phone (one time and sometimes more), in coud be works correctly after till the bug comming back later.
    Any idea ?

The fix is in all versions of COS 12, so if you update that should sort you out. I think there is a CM11 kernel with the fix, but I couldn't be certain. Check for Boeffla kernel.

It's a kernel with touchscreen fix. You'd have to flash that manually though, so it's probably just easier for you to update to lollipop normally.

Edit: here's a little bit of info and a link.
