Max brightness too low and smaller chin on renders (misleading advertising)

    vwite, May 19, 2019 :
I've ordered the phone but haven't received it and I have these concerns:

Can anyone explain why was it advertised as peak brightness of 800 nits but all the reviewers that are able to measure nits say it's 400 manual and around 600 with auto HBM under the sun, a lot less bright than S10+, will it be fixed via software? Also the glare is too much on the curved edges compared to the S10+ because of the extremely big radius which only make it worse to try to see the screen.

Also why the chin is extremely small on renders and if I use phonearena size comparison chin is is almost half the size comapred size by side with the S10+ and almost as small as iphone XS but on all youtube videos chin looks about the same as S10+ and way bigger than the one on the iPhone.

What's the deal here is it another Chinese misleading advertising?

Tweet them. You just get a generic reply on the bad customer support on the website.

I wrote in the original post exactly how. Youtube. I'm 99.9% sure I won't receive a phone with different parts and smaller chin that what the reviewers received

I'd get your post if I was whining about battery life, performance or camera quality, those are subjective and varies per person but the chin size and the nits won't (maybe peak brightness with a software update)

My OnePlus 7 pro gets as bright "looking as my Note 8 does! It's extremely bright and very easy to see in direct sunlight and is overpowering in the dark. "The chin" in the bottom is so small, that you can barely tell! Those whining about the chin are acting like a brat throwing a temper tantrum! It's smaller than, or equal to, the most expensive brands available!

The S10+ chin is pretty small compared to other Android phones. The question is, the chin in your OP7 pro is as small as the one shown in the big pictures they show in their website with the button "buy now"?
