you cannot backup battery.
And you feel the need to open a thread instead of using the existing one. Do not follow your instinct when you feel the need to commit suicide ...
Out of sudden the battery life has drastically reduced. Post full charge only 8hours of usage.
Handset purchased this February.
today, my One Plus 5T was updated to 5.1.2, but now my phone's battery is draining too much.
Try wiping your cache from recovery.. It might solve the issue
I did, but no use..,
Did you give it one more charging cycle? I would suggest you give it one more full cycle and see if it happens again or no? If it does report.. Normally any update on already present ROM can cause issues which can be solved by wiping cache.. So that's the solution as of now.. If not report it
battery is very fine, you see this.
same here I am also facing this issue I don't know what to do
Clear the cache partition from recovery mode as his problem solved
your problem might also get solve..
after clear cach and turn off location accuracy..bettery perfect, never last this long..
let's test some more days.
thank you guys for your efforts, hopefully this will help anyone who needs it....
This is what I did:
-Updating from 5.1.1 to 5.1.2
-Hard reset to factory data
-No social Apps installed (only Whatsapp and Telegram)
-Weather App uninstalled
-Gmail, Google Photos, Drive, Duo,YouTube ---> Disabled
-Every Backup OFF
-GPS/ bluetooth/NFC ---> OFF
-GPS on Battery Saving mode
-No Google Now/Assistant
-No Google Location History
-Google Chrome sync turned OFF (no account signed)
-Good Signal, using 4G.
Again, only using Mobile Data connection the Google Play Services are still on top of the battery usage. I'm almost sure it's an OS issue....
Check your Google account syncing.
