    Best I've ever gotten if 10.5 hrs sot, my typical is 8 hrs (24 hrs since charge, 8 hrs screen on). That's with screen at 40-50% brightness. I could see MAYBE getting 13 hrs sot in the dark with brightness about 10%. A normal of 12-13 it's rediculous (maybe once as a fluke), but 12-13 hrs since charge would actually be low. Presto and Pie have been very similar.

    I did search for this issue n got 2 pinned threads...one says to clear cached memory from advance boot and other says to time my next android os update properly & not to wipe cache data oftentimes. Not sure about the later one...but i already tried the former. Problem still exists. Can you pin the thread(other than these two hich I'm not aware of) here for me... that'll be helpful. Thanks.

    Clearing cache isn't the ultimate solution for all problems.

    Thanks for the screenshots.

    From the above, could make out that your system is being jam packed with apps and files. True ?

    If yes, save the important pics and videos to Gphotos (hope you've a backup of it) > other important files to your lap / Xyz devices > go to settings > storage & memory > free up storage > reboot your device > share the result then.

    Edit : Enabling battery optimisation tool while charging is highly recommended.

    I've been a victim of the same problem. As seen in the screenshots, Android system is using up outrageous portion of the battery life which I faced myself. After some researching and googling, I found out there might be some Android command on loop which might cause the phone to stay awake even when screen is off, hence why you don't see "phone idle" on your battery usage screen. My solution was to go to bootloader and wipe cache, charge the phone to 100% and start using the phone after a restart. Might sound cliche but it worked like a charm.
    P.S- If you're phone is filled with apps you don't use frequently use, I'd suggest you delete some to prevent stuff like this from happening again. If my solution or the ways other users have suggested still don't work, might have to start thinking about a factory reset but that's worst case scenario.

    Edit: Seeing the awake bar full on the first SS justifies my suspicion so I'm pretty confident wiping cache from bootloader will do the trick. Do note, just wiping cache from settings won't do the trick, you'll have to go the full mile.

    I had very similar problem. I got in touch with customer service. They asked me to generate few internal phone logs/reports. I did it and they still did not come back to me regarding the issue and possible cause. Anyway, I returned my phone (it is oneplus 6t btw). Now I am trying to get in touch with them just to understand if they received the phone, and to actually find out what is the issue and what solution they can offer (if any).

    In my case clearing cache did not help.

    I purchased my phone before new year, and at the moment I am without phone and money. What can I say, I am not too happy with neither customer service, nor the phone itself...

    If you have a chance, I suggest try to return it. From my experience, all those internal software log generation did not solve anything, it just was waste of my time, and the issue got dragged longer than it should have been...
