    There were a shitload of whiners who did not like the music app.

    So it was ditched.

    Plus, you can choose your own music app from the play store, at least people don't whine after removal of the OnePlus music player.

    And i bought poweramp, best decision ever made.

    in market all apps have ads and we need to buy for premium. for paying for 3rd party, if we OnePlus music app can we hear it ryt. Example Apple Samsung Sony all have their own music app. why they don't allow users to experience 3rd party app rather developing their own app. they want users to experience sound via their app.

    There's no oneplus team here, only users, and some staff who post the announcements and stuff. These complaints aren't their matter.

    compare to black player. Sony music app is far better bcoz of the sound experience.

    I am fed-up with using third-party music players! And I also don't want the previous stock music player app which is just an average type!

    I already have the Old Music Player! But it has so much less functions than an average third-party music player available in the play store! When I started using 5T from last year, I checked out almost all of the popular third-party music player available in the play store! Only a few of them integrated perfectly with the OnePlus UI and looked great. Finally I stuck to BlackPlayer. But not a single music player interface looked really great with abundant functions like the Samsung Music player I used years back in S6 Edge. So being a Musiclover I want an app from the developer which will not only have abundant functions but also it will look great with user interface! :)
