    Try this:?
    Turn off the device.
    Press and hold Power button.
    Tap Restart.
When the device is restarting, press the Volume Down and Power buttons simultaneously.
When the device logo appears, release the Power button and continue to press the Volume Down.
If you see Safe Mode in the lower-left corner after the device restart, Safe Mode is on, otherwise you need to repeat the process.

Tried it, but it takes me somewhere where I can just install things from storage, clear stuff or reboot. No safe mode option.

    I thought so.
You can't see the safe mode option using this method:
    Please try again.

I found it, but the problem persists in safe mode too.

In my case the battery drains real quick despite of following the tips provided here.

but my bigger problem is phone will immediately switch off off when battery is under 50% battery capacity, and if I try to turn it back on, it'll tell me that battery is completely drained.

but when I charge, it'll start charging from 20-30-40% depending on where the phone switched off.

not sure what I can screenshot here.

So in my case, it was due to a defective replacement battery. I've changed the battery again, now happy times...
