    No social apps (other than Telegram), sync only what's necessary (mail, calendar, contacts), check apps using battery and see if any are used in background (restrict some of those), use wifi when available, airplane mode with wifi if you're in a place with no reception. I get 7-9 hrs doing that.

    battery drain on my OP 5T has been too much recently...20 mts of listening songs reduced my battery from 82% to 68%...someone pleased suggest me wat to do on this!

    Preety unsatisfied with battery life after latest pie updates.
    Earlier my phone used to be super fast and also battery life was excellent.
    whatsapp hang is quite common. And battery is worst now.

    Lots of good suggestions in first post. Adaptive brightness seems to have gotten better for battery. Every Pie version has been just as good or better than Oreo for me (on wifi most of the time). Excellent SOT:

    Maybe this can help someone out there. Been getting 10% drain overnight. Next to no apps installed. WiFi, location on.

    Switched network to 2g only (full coverage) & now drain is 2-3% at most. May not work for you depends on signal in your area.

    Changed the game for me

    Yeah, the less you have on while you sleep, the better. I put it in airplane mode with wifi off, drops 3%. If I have airplane mode off it drops 20-30% (because I have zero to 1 bar at home).

    I've drained my battery completely, kept it off and not charging for a few hours, charged it almost all the way and then I turned it on. seems to be slightly better.

    is there any option in oneplus 5t....so that a display of clock completely showing on the device even after when i locked it....it shal continuously show time when i look into my phone not like AMBIENT DISPLAY FEATURE)....i.e., exactly like a WATCH showing time
