    Oneplus has said that the OP5 and OP5T won't get it. Future products should have it, if Oneplus wants to launch their product with Android 8.0 (or later).

    if you download a decent VPN app (I use tunnelbear) and connect to for example Germany using that VPN app you can get the Oreo ota update immediately (as well as all other updates that OnePlus5 chuck out now and again), I've been running it on my op5 since the day it was announced!

    They said they won't support Treble on current devices, as far as I know Google has set a requirement for any future devices released with Oreo to support it.

    Oneplus, just do it. You're a supposedly customer oriented company and customers want treble (at least me and thousands more, maybe even millions).

    I think it is possible one way or another. I want project treble and many more . if device are getting brick then my suggestion would be to issue a project treble zip For those who want it and they can flash by themselves without risking the device like how we roll back to stable build from beta . this is just a suggestion there can be many other solutions to this problem . if OnePlus care enough they will find a solution .
