I won't joke about it, as it's not worth it.
If you think this little radiation will damage you more than the sun, good luck at living on your own and being paranoid all the time that your phone gives out 8% more radiation than a Samsung phone. This is hilarious.

hi, the respective countries approval body won't approve of the device if it had higher than allowed SAR values.
please don't fall for such rumours
I have a 6Y myself and haven't even experienced phone heating let alone radiation leaks

New article appeared on gizchina explaining the gigantic sar values for one plus phones. Never again buying one of these if they don't fix this issue. Now you guys know why this was less expensive than samsung or other premium brands: cheap tech

No, the article does not explain anything. It just copy-pastes the known image with the SAR levels. Please read my previous post for the real explanation.

The app, as others have said is there to scare you and steal/control your data. Also there is no evidence that electronic radiation is harmful. Our strongest forms of RF don't even come close to the frequency of visible light or even infrared. Yes it's best not to expose yourself to any radiation, so just avoid unnecessary exposure like sleeping with it.

People get all worked up about cell phone radiation but there are two kinds of radiation: ionizing and no-nionizing. Ionizing is bad cancer causing radiation such as gamma and x-rays and are on the high frequency range. Cellphones emit non-ionizing radiation from the low frequency spectrum. there is no substantial evidence to support any harmful effects from non-ionizing radiation.
