Have you ever tried to use Search before you create a redundant new thread?

Really? So Google should send their app updates to OnePlus to vet for OnePlus devices. Same for other OEMs.
The app was working fine when the device shipped, any device OS update didn't cause this issue.
What caused it then? A Google update.
No, but I see how stupid your argument is, equating software and hardware of very different electronic devices.
Since when did rational arguments become defending someone?
I'm afraid this may be applicable for someone else in this case.

Today this weird ' Google UI element outside of padding ' happened on my device too.

    Screenshot_20211118-133745.jpg

My Google Play services app version was this
    Screenshot_20211118-140155~2.jpg

I just uninstalled the Google Play services app update and now it is on this version
    Screenshot_20211118-140401~2.jpg
And I don't have this padding anymore.

    How to uninstall the update:
    Go to settings
    Apps and notifications
    See all apps
    Google Play services
3 dots on top right corner
    Uninstall updates.

Or simply uninstall it from here
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.gms

And clear all the apps from recent memory.

Note: This is a temporary solution, it will occur again if the Google Play Services app update itself back.
Will mention if found any permanent solution :)

Meanwhile you can always report this issue to Google Play services app as an comment on Play Store.

    And to OnePlus here: https://forums.oneplus.com/feedback
