    In Linux operating system Unused memory is wasted memory.
    I'm not sure if you are taking about the RAM or system storage, if it is about system storage you better contact to customer support.

    It is unfortunately a known issue, occurring on both the 8T and 9 versions. It happens to some users not all. I have been told it is to do with media files taking up the space, however I don't have the issue on my phone.

    So far, the best fix I've seen on the forums is to reset the phone on a regular basis.

    I'd also contact oneplus directly and raise as a bug.
