Bro nearly all the ROMs out there are based on their work, avoid supporting them If you can. I really don't know why people hate them so much, what they did to OnePlus was business if someone offered me more money for the same work, dam im having some if that. No one here would be able to tell you the ins and outs of it all so just enjoy the Dev.

Personally, my issue with flashing was that I was too stupid to unzip oxgenos_1.0.0.zip into oxygen_1.0.0_flashable.zip *facepalm*

Hey can someone HELP ME? :( (SOLVED THE ISSUE BY RE-DOWNLOADING THE FILE)
I did everything the installation guide told (followed all steps) but my OPO is stuck on the splash screen before the boot animation.
I am not a noob at Rooting and Flashing, but after repeated tries of wiping and flashing, it fails to get past this screen. :(
My battery is low. Should i charge it to 100% and try again?
    Thanks! :p

Try an advanced wipe before flashing, select Wipe > Advanced wipe > select all except for internal and usb otg

    then install

Did that multiple times. Doesn't seem to make a difference :(
Should i just let it charge for a few hours before trying again?

It's not solely because the OnePlus situation. They make great roms, but I don't directly like them in general. The whole takeover Google along with the CEO. I'll us a cm based custom Rom, but I try to stay off of any direct official builds.

When I am trying this section of the root:
    3. Rooting
Now that your phone has an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery installed you have a two options to gain root (Pick one or the other. You don't need to do both)

Option A) Flash SuperSU binaries which will give you root with the stock ROM
    • Confirm that you have downloaded the SuperSU zip from the downloads section above and that it is located in the platform-tools folder inside of the android-sdk-windows folder on your desktop.
    • Turn the phone off then boot into recovery mode by holding volume down + power. Leave the phone at the main screen of the custom recovery for now.
    • Open a command prompt window and run the following commands:
      Code:
      cd Desktop/android-sdk-windows/platform-tools
      Code:
      adb push UPDATE-SuperSU-vX.XX.zip /sdcard/
This will copy the SuperSU zip onto your phone. Once the command has completed continue.

Instructions for TeamWin Recovery Project (TWRP):
    • Install > browse to SuperSU zip and select the it
    • Swipe to confirm the installation. Then reboot.
I get the issue of when I do the adb push, it says "error: device not found"

    Please help?

    You don't need to root

Anyway, you don't have adb drivers set up.

Go to device manager and manually install them
