I have Mi Band 2, and after I switch My Phone to OnePlus 3T my Mi Band 2 can't connect to my device. Is just always connecting but never connected. Please fix it ASAP.

Have you paired again the Mi Band 2 with the application when installing it? I have it and it works without any problem

No problem at first pairing. But sometimes it takes a while to sync data. It's weird. Only have the OP3T for a couple of weeks.

The Mi Band 2 is the most unreliable piece of crap I have ever used in my life. What is happening to you is not the phone's fault - it's the band's.

I bought one for myself last year (or was it this year?) while it was on discount on a web shop in China. When it arrived, it worked fine with my OnePlus 3 which was running SultanXDA's CM 13.0 build at the time.

I updated that ROM at least 5 times, no issues. Then one day, I updated it, and the phone would not pair with the band under any circumstances. I tried every possible trick in the book (only one worked, see below) and the phone would not pair with the band - better said - the band would not pair with the phone. The best part - the band would not pair WITH ANY PHONE. I had 4 phones in my house at that point, none worked. Not a single one. Ultimately I opened a support ticket with Xiaomi who referred me to a service centre (since there is none nearby, I opened a ticket with the web store who issued a full refund).

What eventually worked is that I let the band drain completely flat, let it stay like that for a week or two, then gave it to my GF who paired it with her phone without any issues and is still using it.

I will never buy a smart band in my life ever again. Which is why I'm currently on the prowl for a Polar M400.

the only way to reset the watch is to let the battery drain and let it die. i.e keep it for about a week without any battery. This would reset the watch, after you charge it again, you should be able to pair.

Hi! I have the same problem. I can't sync MyFit App with the band. I tried different solution (reinstall app, create new account, airplane mode..etc) The thing is that my band is pairing with my phone so that means it's not a phone issue. I use OnePlus 5 LTE.

My solution: I figure it out that it's not phone problem neither Mi Band. It's about My Fit app, that's the one to blame, probably need new updates to solve

this issue. I took Mi Band Master and pair it with own authorization. Works, perfect! I can read all data, set up alarms, calls, sms etc. You can also use after this one Notify & Fitness for Mi Band if you like it more.

Hope this will save your band!

    Cheers!

and i know somebody who couldn't connect its band to mi fit app because it had it paired with the device. after it had it unpaired the connection with mi fit app went just fine
