I have tried many (more than I can count) value to expensive IEMs. I can say for the money the ttpod t1-e iem's are some of the best I have tried. Great sound, and a meaty (not overpowering) bass and subbass sound. No, they don't sound like $1,200 IEM's but they are damn good (great) for ~$40 IEM's. Plus, if you break / destroy them you won't cry (much).

and if you are taking about the bass on skullcandy you must have bought low end model of it!
i have 50/50 and they sounds pretty awesome they have very nice bass but not overpowered i can hear every instrument that gets added to song!

and btw dude just take a chill pill!

    i use skullcandy 50/50 !
i thought that would be great under 2k for me!
i was also considering Senn CX275 but i settled for 50/50 at after looking all over reviews of the product!
if you are tight on budget also look for the creative ep630 they are also okay!

Consider Sennheiser Momentums. They're good value for what they're worth.

    Sennheiser Urbanites are good too.
As well as Audio Technica, but I haven't bought them, just tried them.
Stay away from brands that do alot of advertising and marketing like beats and marley. They make good headphones, but at a large premium.
