I have an unrooted and locked bootloader oneplus one (so essentially clean). I can't access my settings because it was disabled due to a security risk. I want to try and update my phone to the next update to see if it will fix my settings issue (by bringing it back to my apps). Which one of these links should I click..? I believe the last update I have on my phone is 11.0-XNPH44S. I'm also trying not to lose my data on my phone.

I don't get the incremental update notification on my phone anymore because I disabled it so please help!

You can use any of the fastboot zips or signed flashable zips to update but, as your bootloader is locked, you will lose all of your personal data and apps etc. when you unlock it.

I saw in another link of yours regarding OTA incremental updates. Are they any different than the fastboot/flashable zips?

    Spannaa, Apr 18, 2017 :
The OTA incremental updates are small, stock recovery flashable zips to update you from one version to the next but, as you're on cm-11.0-XNPH44S, you'd only be able to update to cm-11.0-XNPH05Q before needing to flash a full, signed flashable zip or fastboot flash fastboot images to update further.

I see. Do you think it's safe to make the small update to the next (cm-11.0-XNPH05Q) without harming my phone (bricks/data wipes)? I'm not trying to update to the latest. I'm just trying to see if I can fix my Settings app issue through an update. Thanks!

It should be, but there's no guarantee that it'll work.

It sounds like you'd be better off backing up everything you can and then clean installing the latest version though.

=\ Yeah, currently backing up all my data. By clean installing, you mean when I get the notification to update my system, correct?

    Spannaa, Apr 20, 2017 :
By clean installing I mean factory resetting and then installing a signed flashable zip.

But, if you're wiping everything by factory resetting, you might as well unlock your bootloader, install TWRP custom recovery and then flash a signed flashable zip.

If you do it this way, you can take and restore full backups afterwards.

Good idea, I might just do that as well. Would you happen to know which TWRP I should get? I'm afraid the latest wouldn't work for me.

    Spannaa, Apr 24, 2017 :
I'm not sure which version you'd need to use but, you could use the latest fastboot zip and fastboot flash the images it contains and then fastboot flash the latest TWRP recovery.

Hi, recently my OPO got some issues with WiFi connectivity.
The WiFi keeps on disconnecting and reconnect back itself very frequently around 5-10mins and it occur once.
I had compared to other devices during the disconnect time on my OPO and the other device is working fine, definitely not the problem with the router.
I tried to wipe cache/dalvik and reflash the rom but still the problem occurs.
    Any suggestions?
