I did that with the cm-12.0-YNG1TAS0YL-bacon-signed.zip yesterday, checked this new firmware and saw that it works fine. Today I saw that the fastboot version is available too, so I took the time to start again and flash this using fastboot.

@sp99 - Do you think this thread would be better of in the Cyanogen OS 12 forum now?

Or is it possible to have a sticky link so it's available in both the CyanogenMod 11S & Cyanogen OS 12 forums?

If you're on 05Q, you can't update your OPO to CM12 with OTA incremental update zips.

Just flash cm-12.0-YNG1TAS0YL-bacon-signed.zip from the first post here (obviously wipe cache & dalvik-cache first).

Hello, I have recently been notified that the Lollipop is ready for OTA update. My question is: Will I lose all the info currently on my phone due to this update?

Wait longer or download and flash it manually - it's up to you!

    No.

I downloaded the flashable zip from android host and try to flash it thru twrp in multirom as secondary... It flashes successfully but goes into boot loop on booting into cm12

Sorry, I don't do multi-rom, you'd be better off asking elsewhere.

If your bootloader is unlocked, you can use the 05Q fastboot zip.
If it's not, then I'm not sure you can as there isn't an official, Cyanogen signed flashable zip for 05Q.

so to step down from CM12 to CM11...i think even if you don't root, you will still at least have to unlock your bootloader via fastboot. then you can use fastboot to install cm11, or flash TWRP, and flash CM11 using TWRP

either way...you're pretty close to rooting territory. so if you don't want to root your phone, just don't flash the root file...
