    1. copy the update zip to you phone by plugging it into the pc
    2. boot twrp
    3. choose install and select you zip
    if errors still occur:
    4. in twrp go to advanced->copy log
    5. save the log to you phone
    6. plug the phone and copy the log to your pc
    7. paste the contents to http://pastebin.com/

    2.1.2 fails for me with a /system/ant hal service error, I do not use ant and I tried wiping /system also

    I'm rooted and need to flash the full zip to keep my custom recovery...unless there's another way that I don't know about.

    you need to be on unrooted stock 2.1.1 in order to flash 2.1.2 ota... so you might want to flash 2.1.1 fullrom zip before the update...

    Make sure you follow the directions correctly. I updated to 2.1.2 with no issues at all. Phone is smooth as butter even more now

    Thanks for the files! But if the installation fails anyway, is there a way to update without going through a recovery from scratch? I'd be quite annoyed to lose all my data...

    If the OTA fails then you need to flash the full 2.1.1 zip followed by the 2.1.2 OTA

    Also rooted and flashed the latest AK kernel.
    No issues so far.

    When wiping /system (which is necessary for flashing 2.1.1), which data will be lost? Any Wifi passwords, private data, Downloads..?
