Missing emojis from keyboard after 10.3.0 update on OnePlus6

    Emojis are missing after the update. and many other apps like Note, Weather, etc were uninstalled in the update.

    yes I'm experiencing the same issue have tried multiple things according to OnePlus support, none of which have work and I was told to just start a thread on this and hope a technician would see it and look into it, very dissatisfied
    in OnePlus if I'm totally honest

    Are you able to see Emojis in an existing text? It seems, that the font of your system is damaged. Please don't test it in Messengers like WhatsApp because it uses its own font in the app. So it should work in WhatsApp anyway.

    The missing preinstalled apps could confirm a failure while installing the system update.

    Hi there,

    I have the same issue! I want to ask you: which "reset" did you perform? Is it the TWRP-cleanup (without deleting sd-card) or is the OS- / GUI-based factory-reset from booted phone needed, which deletes everything on the phone?

    I wipe in twrp cache, dalvic cache, system and data. Not the SD.
    After that I flash the OOS ROM and restart the Phone.
