Misunderstanding about Trade-in Token

    I did trade-in with Oneplus for my ONEPLUS 8 PRO, I got $370.00 Trade-in token, but when I try to use it to do an order for charger, the system show me "Token exceeds payment by $261.06. Are you sure you want to submit this order? The extra value will not remain in your OnePlus account if you proceed."
    I checked with support and one of the support said " it will remain to your account and it's system issue" but the other said" it will not remain to your account and you will lose the money"!
    I checked all the message about token, nothing about " not remain", so the question is : How can I use my token and keep my money in my account?

    1. How to use the OnePlus token?

    A:
    1. You can apply the token at the checkout page if you have the token in your OnePlus account.

    2. When your token value is higher than your order value, the extra value will remain in your OnePlus account.

    3. Multiple tokens can be applied in the same order – a token and voucher can be applied in the same order.

    4. Please note the expiration date of the token, as it will not be valid after the expiration date.

    Terms of Usage for Vouchers
    • You can only apply one voucher code to each order.
    • If you cancel an order or request a refund, applied voucher codes will be returned to your account.
    • Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
    • OnePlus reserves the right to revoke or re-evaluate the use of any and all issued vouchers.
    • Voucher can be used together with the gift code.

    :(Yes, I got the reply from support and it's said it can remain into my account.....BUT when I tried to use trade in token, it always showed "Incorrect CAPTCHA, please try again".
    If I order without "Trade-in Token", everything is OK, I paid by PayPal.
    It's looks like ONEPLUS don't want me use my Trade-in TOKEN anymore..........

    Nobody contact to me...... So my suggestion is DO NOT do the trade-in with OnePlus......

    I was about to post in here. The captcha error will be an issue with the web platform and I asked admin to refer this to them prior. I chased it up again this morning.
