Has anyone else on VZW not been able to receive MMS messages since the OxygenOS 10 update? VZW has said it's a device issue, not a network issue and I don't know what to do. Help please!! I've already restarted my phone, cleared the partition cache, moved my sim card to the other slot, reset my network connection.

The only fix, atm, is to replace the sim card with a new one. I am not sure what the underlying issue is, but it's a PITA nonetheless- especially if you run open beta and do the "monthly" updates. The last two open beta's and a10 have broken MMS. The only other solution is to use the one plus messages app and no other app.

I'm having the same issue. After the update to Android 10 and OxygenOS version 10.3.0 on my OnePlus 6T, I no longer receive MMS messages (group messages or picture messages). I called OnePlus technical support on 1/6/2020, they said that it was a known issue and that their developer was working on a fix that should be released in one week. It's been 2.5 weeks and still nothing. OnePlus technical support said that the only other option was to roll back to Android 9, which requires you to plug your phone into a computer and then have a customer support representative remotely log into your computer and perform the roll back. NOT something I want to do. Where is the fix?

Install latest OOS 10.3.1 just released, it is a Staged Rollout, so if you don't see it via OTA, you may need to do it via 3rd party app Oxygen Updater from the Playstore, see if it fixes the issues

Did this fix the MMS issue, or are you just recommending this update hoping it might fix our issue?

I couldn't wait any longer for the OTA update to arrive. So I hesitantly updated to OxygenOS 10.3.1 via the Oxygen Updated app. The update solved my MMS receiving issue!

It also solved another issue. After updating to Android 10, my "Commute to home" routine with the Google Assistant quit working. I have the routine set to send a text message to my wife along with a couple other tasks. After the Android 10 (and OxygenOS 10.3.0) update, the routine would always fail at the point where the Google Assistant tried to send the text message, saying something along the lines of, "Actually, I can't do that." After the OxygenOS 10.3.1 update, this routine is working again!

well, after being on the OB5 installed on 2/19, MMS broke again (after being ok for a month). All Verizon stores are closed to boot, so no replacement sim now either...FML maybe OB6 will fix this again?

Not sure if it can help, but you can upgrade to 10.3.2 Stable build, as it is a newer build it will install without data loss, even though it gives a warning that it will. That's because you are upgrading from one build to another.

If you want to try that go to the OnePlus support link below, choose your phone model, download 10.3.2 Stable build and install, following the instructions on the website.

Pictures should be fine, update the Gallery App in the Play store if available, check the OnePlus statement below. It can take a few hours for the OnePlus Gallery to update itself with photos.

Also Google Photos should display them fine.

    https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/...disappearance-problem-in-gallery-app.1164151/

It can take a while for some of the Google apps to function correctly, as it does its updates. Usually the Playstore, Play services etc.

Go through a couple of full drain and charge cycles, usually fixes most glitches.

already did a clear cache from the bootmenu (Power button and volume down during boot)

Also did Clear the App info Cache and App info Storage for all 4 items

    Google Playstore
    Google Play services
Google Services Framework (Search in Setting for this)
    Google App

    Restarted the phone several times.

    I had to factory reset.

mms issues still exists post factory reset... something in the new releases of messages caused this to happen.

at this point I'm kind of giving up on this... I'll wait for open beta 6 to come out. if that doesn't fix the MMS issue, then I will opt for a new SIM card. But that too will likely be short-lived based on past performance thus far.

Having MMS issues creating group chats with everyone on my phone plan. I can receive and send messages to other groups. if I try to create a MMS group with the folks on my plan--. I either automatically get "you have left the chat" or "sending aborted, try again".

So far I am the only one on my phone plan that can not create a group chat using the already installed messaging app.
Any idea what may be the issue... Called OnePlus tech support, and have been waiting for about an hour each time I call-- not much help there. (still waiting again while typing this out)

I currently have Oxygen OS version 10.3.5 on my Oneplus 6t and am unable to send mms text messages. Has anyone found a reliable fix that doesn't cause other problems once you apply it? I was hoping over time Oneplus would have fixed it as suggested in this thread. Thanks in advance for any help.

Have no issue with sending MMS myself, make sure you Mobile Carrier APN is set correctly. I also use Google Messages to send and receive MMS.

Also check with your Mobile Carrier that there are no issues on their end with your Network profile.
