I noticed that I am unable to use mobile data on Android 9. I am using Net10 which uses AT&T network. I reentered the apn info but am not getting anything. Thanks for any help.

Not to be simple, but did you see if mobile data is turned off? I've done that before, hit it without realizing it

You could try resetting the network settings and see if that helps. Otherwise you may need to call Net 10 and see if you're missing something that is needed on their system. I was on them years ago, but the guy at the store set up the phone for me, I know he made all kinds of changes to get it to work.

    Hey there,

I'm facing the same issue since Pie betas and 9.0 release.

Everything is fine if I roll back to Oreo.

All I had to do was change 2 things on the apn, but had to chat with net10 to get it done. I have an app from net10 but it would show the old apn settings as the correct one.

If I may ask who is your mobile provider? Look and make sure your apn is listed, if not re-enter it. I had to reenter mine, then I needed to change the first 2 fields as:
    Reseller
    Hope that helps.

Mobile provider is SFR in France.

I already tried everything with APNs, even at the shop they gave up. Then Tech guy from provider's hotline told me to wait for an android update or to go back on Oreo ...

I got 2 simcards, 1 of them is german vodafone. So i tried to turn the mobule data off today cuz im in turkey and using the. Local sim card. The german sim card turns the mobile data on by it self. Its a prepaid simcard and cannot cause high bills due to Roaming (data roaming is off) is it a bug?? Or is it just normal?

It's been years now since I used them, but I had the same issue with them.

You may be better off going direct to the carrier and just getting a plan from them. You'll also increase your signal/speed because you won't be limited on the tower like they are.

Got the mobile data to work but data speeds are terrible. Funny thing is I go over to Indiana I get outstanding speeds.

It may because they are limited on the tower you're hitting. I live in Florida and whenever I went over to Disney I got zero signal on them. Once I left the property my signal came back. Yet anyone I was with on Verizon, AT&T or T-Mobile all had full signal. It got old real quick.

I've been back with T-Mobile now for years and years and never an issue.

I reported yesterday that I had lost my mobile data with Pie . . . after a little research I realized that Pie had changed my APN settings . . . I use an MVNO that relies on AT&T for mobile data . . . Pie had used the regular APN for AT&T . . . so I switched it to the APN for the service company I use. all up and running [e]1f601[/e]

I'm also having issues with mobile data, for me data works after entering the apn but i get no internet through hotspot or tethering on connected devices. I've tried this on two different OP6 and both have issues after upgrading. Tried restarting and wiping cache with no luck. For those who had data issues and got it working, does hotspot and tethering work for you? Thanks
