I don't know, for the past two days, my mobile is getting more heat and battery is draining like hell. once I charged till 58% and within two hours it went down to 3%. Basically I used only data connection with WhatsApp and not any apps ran by myself. But Android system app that runs background utilized nearly 58% of battery usage.

Secondly dash charge not working properly and it takes 1 hour and 45 minutes to charge completely.
plus when I view battery status, it is displaying 12 minutes to charge full with 91% and later 10 minutes, just 3% charged and got only 94% battery charged.

what the hell is happening in my mobile. Don't know how to bring my mobile back to normal. I got this mobile just three months back. It's weird that I face this issue for the second time and dash charging is not working as promised.

wiped out cache in settings and also while restarting. nothing worked perfectly.

kindly assist us what should I do further.

i dont think so , but may be the update issue , some time camera doesn't work properly, and the app issue , so battery also drains fast

First, read this. Second, nothing is wrong with Dash Rapid Charge. It slows down as it reaches 90% to avoid over-voltage and ruining the battery so expect a bit longer of charge time. Thirdly, no one from OnePlus reads these forums. And lastly... use this thread next time if you're having battery problems.

First do a wipe cache in the recovery mode:

    Power down the OnePlus 5
Wait until the device is completely off
Then press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons at the same time
Continue holding these two buttons during the initial OnePlus splash screen
When the OnePlus logo goes away, you can let go of these two buttons
And then wait until the OnePlus 5 boots into Recovery Mode

it will ask for your password, then choose wipe data and cache, next choose wipe cache (not data factory reset)

Second remember that batteries have a natural degradation, this will be, worse if you let the battery discharges completely, you never have to do that because that kill the battery life.
