After update to Pie, Mobile Network Standby is draining way too much battery. I am getting 1.5 hours of screen on time, which used to be around 3.5 hours before the update. I am on Oxygen OS 9.0.3 stable for OnePlus 3T. Please have a look at the screenshot attached.

Having same issue on my OnePlus 3T, I have recently updated to oxygenos 9.0.3 and the problem appeared.
Tried to clear cache for all apps (one by one, so lame) and no change, battery is still draining like hell.
    The screenshot is attached.
    Any thoughts?

Switch to 3G or 2G or close your 4g network on standby it will be back to normal.

I'm having the same issue. Happened as soon as I updated to pie 9.0.3
The drain is almost acceptable when i'm connected to wifi, when i'm off wifi its 2% an hour minimum. Ruled out low reception because i'm in a high reception area and never had this issue before updating to 9.0.3

Considering I haven't changed my carrier, location or habits it can only be a firmware issue.
    Despite that, i've tried:

    Factory reset
Turning off wifi and bluetooth scanning
    data saver
    battery saver
    disabling VoLTE
safe mode - to rule out 3rd party apps
disabling google play services from using background data
    Using 3G only
Trying different preferred networks in the *#*#4636#*#* menu

If you use Jio than there is no 3G or 2G network. Jio only operates on 4G.

Hi. Personaly, i roll back to oxygenos 5.0 and return to 9.0 if, one day, there is a patch... It's so a big bug, too bad.

Same issue here. Battery drain is way too much by "Mobile Network Standby". I thought OnePlus listens to feedback of users or is it that OP3 users are not important anymore!?

i had the same issue may be bcuz android pie is heavy, had flashed stable version of oxygen os 9.0.2 and issue persisted from oneplus spprt, Now have downgraded back to android 8, issue is somewhat ok now with minor bttry drain as android 8 is much lighter to heavier android versions that are coming through.

Hello, I have the same issue here. My battery drain is 50% due to the radio signal. I was hoping that new update can fix the issue but it seems that there is no update coming at all. It starts to smell like this was made on purpose for us to change our phones with a newer model.

Hi all. I am facing the same issue here, though I think it didn't start immediatelly after the update (maybe I didn't notice it right away).
    Is there a fix here?
Does anybody know if this is a bug or simply goes like this with this combination of phone/os?
Does downgrading to android 8 help at all?
