    There is no setting in the stock camera app for b/w.

    You need to do this after taking your pic with another software.

    It's right, with cam-app you can't take B&W pictures... monochrome depending on the motiv... you have to use postprocessing software, but take care, it's not only 'to get rid of color'... a colorless / B&W picture ist not always a good monochrome picture ;)

    true dat.. not all photos are meant to be monochromed.. it looks good if it has a good focused subject..someone in the monochrome thread gave good tips on this..
