As an owner of the 5T I think that the speed we have so far on our OP phones is more than enough ...

Personally I think that instead of more SPEED we need more features like water resistance, better camera,(not)wireless charging etc.

    What do YOU think ?
Do you need more speed or more features?!

Actually, putting faster chipset, more RAM and storage is the easiest thing OnePlus can do. So they do just that. They tried with camera once (5) and they overhyped.

Even though it'll inevitably lead to more heating?

Even so, the extra heat generated won't be so extreme as to cause issues.

I'm all for more features, but sadly they will probably go with faster chip and more ram because it's easy.

If you need more speed from a pocket pc, you should really be using a laptop instead.

are you joking Indian users in outside temp of 40oC are already complaining or lag and heating....what would waterproofing do but create more heat?

    Imho.... Speed good features good

But IP68 water resistance and QI compatible charging would make the phone pretty good

Make the USB C port a 2 in 1 jack or move current jack to the top. Keep dual sim but allow SD cards and perhaps removable battery to either allow it to be self changed when existing one dies or to keep a spare charged battery. This would make it pretty special.

To make it awesome.... All of the above !
