Moto Pure all the way. I'll be keeping my OPO around in case I dont like the Moto, but I'm guessing the only thing I may not like would be the battery life. Good thing I can get 30% in 15 minutes.

Will the OP2 have removable memory, micro sd slot? Moto has! and I already have micro sd cards of 128 and 64gb, so ye...

Yes but sd card is not really as good as on-board storage its slower and some apps don't support it. 32 GB on-board is necessary for a true flagship!

It might come down the availability.

The two devices in my mind are close enough; the bells and whistles (fingerprint scanner, NFC) won't make much of a difference to most users.

If the OP2 invite doesn't come and I'd need to replace my OP1.. if the MotoXPlay was available I would likely try it.

I agree-- but it's still nice to have the ability to have extra space, if you need it; whether it is fast or slow. After thinking for the last few minutes about this, I'm starting to think that the Moto X Style might be a better option for me... I'll have to stew over it for a little while longer, though.

We're on the same boat, one second my brain goes moto and then 2 seconds later Oneplus. Maybe when I have the opportunity to buy both phones, I'll know what i really want :p

Well we have ourselves the fight of the century !

    OP2 Pros :
    1. 5.5 inch 1080p display
    2. 13mp camera with very good low light performance
    3. Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v 2.1
    4. USB type C
    5. Fingerprint Sensor
    6. 4GB Ram
    7. 3300 mAH battery
    8. Dual sim
    9. 64GB for $389 USD
    10. OIS (Optical Image Stabilization)

    Cons:
    1. Invites
    2. No NFC
    3. No Wireless Charging
    4. No Micro SD

Its a beautifully created phone but it has many cons, it may actually not be the phone of the 2016. I still love OnePlus a lot but this has kinda disappointed.

    Moto X Style Pros :
    1. 5.7 inch display
    2. 3000 mAH battery
    3. 21 mp Camera
    4. 3GB Ram
    5. Qualcomm Snapdragon 808
    6. NFC
    7. TurboCharging
    8. For $399 USD
    9. Micro SD expansion
    10. Universal LTE in the US.
    11. Fingerprint Sensor (Unconfirmed)

    Cons:
    1. No fingerprint sensor
    2. Smaller battery
    3. Releases Later on

Another great phone with a some more specs, Kinda leaning towards this but the wait is horrible.

A battle between great phones, leave your thoughts below.

First, let's see how OP2 performs. Give it a couple of months for the data to come out. Then, you could compare it with other phones, including Moto Style. It is too early to tell now.

Manufacturer's always have to make compromises, especially if they want to hit certain price points. As much as we would like them to "Never Settle" the real world forces them to settle or hit sky rocket prices. What OnePlus and Motorola have done is quite commendable for both companies. People will have their own personal preferences (including brand loyalty) which will sway them one way or another.

It's just really itriguing match-up. I mean who's camera will be better? Quick charging can negate, battery issues, and battery performance seems to vary so much by phones, specs rarely tell you the true story there. I think the 2k screen will be nice and at least I know coworker with a Note 4 (2K screen) with better battery life than I get on my OPO.

I like competition. But I'm suddenly very undecided.

The Moto X Style is really not bad, i like Motorolas very much, my last two phones were Motorolas.

The QHD Display is nice to have, but i am totaly happy with FullHD, so that is not an advantage for the Moto X in my sight.

And i don't know, if the 5,7" are slighty a little bit too much fur me, 5,5 are totally good, have to see it, when its released.

And the camera, the weak point in the last Moto X devices, first have to show, that it is better. Just more MP dont mean better.

And at least the Moto X is more expensive, so i am going for the OnePlus Two, if i get a invite on time.

Maybe its just the photos, but that Moto X Style looks a lot physically bigger for only 0.2" screen increase. Its definitely not as nice looking as the OP2, but it could be argued its a more well rounded phone. One thing I like about the OP2 is the optical image stabilization, please add that to the pros.
