Moto X is (for now) the flagship killer 15, but 1+ said that the 2 is Flgship killer 2016, which for now is!

Well i think its pretty tough, but op2 has a bit of an edge with its fingerprint sensor and that notification slider... plus i think both phones will have around the same screen on time though op2 should win. so ill just wait and see all the reviews and buy one

Seems like theres no ois (ois is mainly the big deal, but no laser focus either is seems like). Also with a bigger phone, a smaller battery. Design looks better imo (i like the back of the opo better than the two) but specs of the two are arguably better. Both are up there though in the flagship killer group.

I wouldn't gamble on phones like that. And it's only $150 ish? Probably going to be like a 2000mah reported at 6000

well the thing i need the most is fluidity and to get me through the day.. my gaming isnt extensive which requires me to have the most new gpu and specs. if its optimized the right way.. any processor can outperform

3000 is pretty small for me, mine is 4050 mAh and 3/4 of the capacity plus a 1440p 5.7 inch display AND the 808 will not be very good for battery life, especially when compared to the one I have now.

Looks like a pretty sick phone but I don't want to wait until September for my upgrade, I'm getting anxious. Of course, I may not end up getting an invite for the OP2 until way late, but we'll see.

The only gripe for the motorola I have is that it is only unlocked in the US and for the moto maker crap. 5.7 inch is too big. Even 5.5 is maximum for me. I prefer 5.2 or actually 5" is the perfect size IMO. The moto will also have 3 Gb RAM instead of 4 Gb.

If you want a flagship for a good price I'd say go pick up the Oppo Find7. That thing is on sale with top of the line last year's specs but it still out classes some phones today. Only thing slightly behind is the processor.

My checklist for a smartphone specwise this year:

    USB type-C
    Minimum 1080p screen
NFC (cause apparently they can not include it?)
Minimum 32 Gb internal storage (with MicroSD slot)
Minimum 64 Gb internal storage (no MicroSD slot)
Minimum all day battery life (medium high usage)
Max 5.5 inch screen (5-5.2 inch preferred)
Snapdragon 808 or better. (please don't overheat)
3.5 mm audio jack (good sound please)
    Great Camera (comparable to G3/4, S6, Z2/3/3+)
    Decent speaker sound
    Good design
    (include the common sense stuff)
    (probably some stuff I missed)

Yep, there alot of phones with bigger batteries some even are very thin. OnePlus Two is thicker than the Oneplus One. That is horrible engineering, I would say.

    Innos D6000 6000mah
    Gionee Marathon M5 6020mah
    VK World VK6050 6050mah
    Oukitel (Rumored) 10,000mah

Don't forget water repellent coating, Universal LTE Bands (works on Verizon and Sprint here in the US) and actual customer service!

You need to understand that Google has locked down SD cards for app installation since kitkat.
SD cards are really just media storage now, and with cloud storage and music streaming ... not really a big deal.
i think you need at least 32gb device anymore

Another price issue that will push the moto up... tax
