If both were available, I would buy the OnePlus One. I'm not in it for the price. I'm in it for the phone. I have no concerns if Google made the Nexus phones $529 like before but gave me a quality camera and battery.

A garbage phone is still a garbage phone, not worth to spend money on.

Hell no. I hate my n5. Two RMA's later and I still have a screwed up phone and I can't be bothered to do a third one. LG really screwed up the n5 in terms of QC. I really just want to replace my phone with a OP and be done with it and give my wife one. I'm done with korean products. Looking at you Samsung and LG.

I would consider it but with the 64gb Opo being just $50 I'd have to go with the Opo.

I was very keen on N5 since its launch, but I believe my wait was well worth with OPO showing great promising specs.

Yep, so true. I was considering a new phone, and the Nexus was up there, but now the OnePlus is coming, i can wait for it!

There is no point to even think of this hypothetical situation.
I already have nexus 5. But it is Google. One day when next nexus phone launch is near, nexus 5 will disappear from the play store for good and that will be the end of it. Just like every previous nexus phone.

Right now, no. Currently OnePlus One specifications seem better than the Nexus 5 to me. Also, having built-in CyanogenMod is something hard to refuse.
