[Submitted] My Device is not charging stuck at 50% and I get message"Device temperature is too low" Jan 13, 2019

    I have an OnePlus 5. It was working very fine. I too liked the 9.0 very much. But now my device is not charging. It's in 50% on constant charge and battery usage data is not available. And when I switch off and on I get a message "Battery too low" and after that I get a message "Device temperature is too low" if I check battery temperature it is below -40° C I'm in India and how can this be possible. Please do help me

    Did it got fixed, if yes please share the idea? I did reboot, recovery and factory reset. But nothing works. Problem since the 9.0.3 update.

    I was facing the same issue last week in mu OnePlus 5. my issue was resolved automaticly. I just drain my battery complete to 0% and leave the phone for 40 hour. after it I charge the phone and it become perfect like before.
    Note: you need to have some patience minimum 35 hours . don't put the phone on charging in these 35+ hours. hope so you get the solution.

    Thank you Saad, but my phone switches off automatically then how can I drain the battery completely. Did you phone switched off automatically as well. Did you keep it switched on and drain the battery? Does the battery drain by itself if kept switched off?

    if you are facing the same issue just drain your battery to 0% and leave the phone for 35 hours without put ip on charging.. your phone will be okhy.

    Did your phone turn off after you unplug the charger? because my op5 turn of itself after unplug the charger, so I have to leave it for about 2 day right?

    when your phone will switch off due to low battery. leave it for minimum 30 to 35 hours but dont charge the phone during these hours... after this charge your phone hope so it will resolve your issue . have patience. keep it in mind dont charge the phone before 35 hours.. i do the same trick and it works on my oneplus 5.

    I have the same problem. the phone is not switching on without plug in the charge cable when I plug it in I receive the same error message "the device temperature is too low". HELP MEEE
