I am a Oneplus 7pro user and I have had a heating issue since February and they are not able to give me any proper solution and in my phone screen some unwanted icons display on my phone screen. I visited the service center on 12 June 2021. they did not accept my phone to check the problem they said this is just a normal temperature issue. At that time my phone temperature was 46.4. I can attached both screenshots in this mail for heat issue and screen issue . this icon is visible on screen

Display burn-in isn't due to heating.
It's due to using the same app for long periods of time at High brightness.
And yes, they weren't wrong about the temperature, it's nothing out of the ordinary, especially when playing games.

Oh man, that's quite a bit of burn-in.

You know what I never understand, surely that level of burn in doesn't happen in one day of playing. So don't you start realising to reduce play hours or reduce brightness at least?

Yeah not sure about that, potentially the burn in was so bad in the region that it captured the images immediately after from that area too 🤷‍♂️

    I found the following online:

"Screen burn occurs when an old image lingers on the screen even after the phone itself has moved on to display the next image. There is a greater risk of screen burn in high use areas of the phone, including the area around an in-display fingerprint sensor."

I guess it's the regular use of that at such a high brightness that causes the burn in

You can hide the icon on A11, I would recommend that.

It's not covered by warranty as the burn-in is caused by your gaming habits and not by failing hardware, so be prepared to pay for parts and labor.

The PUBG incons stuck on screen has nothing to do with A11 update... And as screen burn-in isn't covered by warranty you are extremely lucky if they fix it for free. Try to be really friendly when talking to service center or support will increase your chances.
