My display is acting weird by turning Red tint via OnePlus 6

    Sometimes when I use Google chrome or any apps or websites owned by facebook my display turns reddish bright, I haven't done anything, it's happening on it's own, kindly help me

    And it started sometime ago, and wasn't there before.
    Was it after the last update ?

    Maybe yes it started after the update I dont clearly remember it, all I thought that I would've damaged my display

    Seems to have appeared in a recent version of Google Chrome, as to why, you would have to ask Google. Chrom is their browser app. Many have come across this and the flags setting is the workaround for it.

    In my case, i was playing arround display settings. I turned on DC Dimming and soon i noticed this issue in Chrome and other apps.. whenever i try to type something it showed me red/yellow tint for a second or two.. i also did reset my phone after 10.3.7 update.. everything is sorted now.

    As @Tokolozi states in his quote

    Disable #dynamic-color-gamut in Google Chrome.

    Paste chrome://flags in the URL and
    search for #dynamic-color-gamut disable it.
