That article is hardly confirmation that the Neuxs 6 will support these features any time in the near future. I think it is the next logical step, but who knows when and if it will be available.

As far as battery life is concerned. If you don't use your phone all that often, your'e going to have decent battery life. But I have to disagree with the OnePlus battery comparison, my results have heavily favored the OPO.

Sad, largely because this just reinforces all of the worries I had about this phone, and why I gave up on it -- the price alone was reason enough, since it gave up on the one of the main things I liked about the Nexus, but the battery kills it.

Its a kick in the teeth, that they have a non-removable battery that may not hold enough charge and the solution is to find a way to make it easier to put it through more charging cycles.

Nice review. I'd cut the swearing gimmick though, as no-one ******* talks like that in real life.

Sure they do! Movies, TV shows, podcasts, comedians, music, etc. But this isn't real life, this is the INTERNET.

Good review, and I agree. Pretty much the major kill factor for it is the battery. Sucks so bad, and with it's massive price, its just not worth it. Makes me glad I chose to get the OnePlus one.

I wouldn't say its over priced considering the competition and quality of the phone. It's just not what it used to be.

    just
    Nice F-bomb count.
Not quite Pesci mode but keep working at it and you'll be fine.

    ... nice review btw.

Moto X (2nd gen) is a better sized phone IMHO. There should have been a Moto X replacement for the N5 with the full compliment of GSM and CDMA radios instead of just this large piece of toast.

Thanks for the review. Motorola radio should not be underestimated, it is better than any other brands I've used. It's not just the call quality, but the data speed and consistency as well. And their WiFi performance is very good as well.

Also the one sided power+volume buttons for Moto phones are much better. This is useful when the phone is on a car mount, they're easier being the same side facing upward. With other phones the volume buttons would be facing downward on the mount.

If only the Moto X had better battery life. Not sure why Google/Moto had to go to the larger end of the phablet spectrum, 5.5" would have made just as much, if not more sense, would have alienated less people.

Call quality, radio, and reliable speed tests are very hard to judge accurately, but I have no complaints about the Nexus 6 in that respect. I could easily get use to all of the buttons on one side. I can see benefits of both types of layouts. Just as long as the power button is not on the top.
