    Hi all,

This is my first draft at designing a cradle for the One, its still in the early phases and I plan to make more changes.
I'll be getting a 3D printer shortly and I've already got a working .stl that I can try to print.

Any feedback is welcome but please go easy, its my first time ;)

Looks good, how will you keep the USB in place and strong enough to not bend when inserting device?

Assuming the Images are correct what's preventing the phone from sliding away? i think you need to add a small lip/bumper in front to the base

Its probably just not visible in these images but there is a 3mm rounded lip at the front to stop the phone from moving.

Yeah I've been wondering about this too, I've been thinking about getting the Oneplus logo on the front and having some kind of clip so when you push the logo it clips the cable in place. Not had chance to model it yet though.

As for strength I won't know until I run a test print. However the walls of the model are 2.5mm thick. I'm hoping it'll be enough.

I was not trying to put yours to shame, I just wanted to point it out so you could possibly get some ideas that you could use. I think you did a good job with your design.

Hey I didn't take it personally. It's motivating to see what others are doing.
The simple clip they've used is a good idea to hold the cable in place. I might 'borrow' something like that but use the + from the Oneplus logo on the front as the clip... somehow....

Will you share the .stl with the forum once you have finished?

How about putting small guide rails on the sides to insert the phone in proper angle and not bend the conector

That's some awesome work right there man but I can see from the images that it may damage the charger...
