Warranty doesnt cover user error. You will have to pay up to get it fixed.

@benzil1997 warranty is void since the damage has been caused due to a drop.
Gorilla glass is not protection against falls.

Any repair would have to be a monetary cost paid by you.

Tip: Gorilla glass is SCRATCH resistant....not SHATTER PROOF. If you drop it, it will shatter.
It's glass. That's what glass does. The videos you see of people hammering the glass, are
all done from the MIDDLE of the glass, which allows the force to be spread out evenly outward
from the middle. An impact on the edge, has NO WHERE for the energy to go, except outward,
causing it to shatter. It's physics...pure and simple.

Generally correct, but the explanation would give any physics teacher a heart attack :D

When you fell out of bed did you land on your phone?

As others have said, Gorilla Glass is not a magical layer of bouncy castle, no matter what the marketing tries to tell you. Bigger screens = bigger risks, which is why we're hearing more and more of this now (and not just from OP).
