Was your Oreo update was a clean install?

Whenever you get a OS update or OOS update, I highly recommend you to wiping cache in recovery mode, to get optimal performance.

How to enter into recovery mode and wipe cache
    1. Turn the phone off.
    2. Hold Power and Volume Down
    3. Pick your preferred language
    4. Wipe data & cache
    5. Wipe cache
    6. Choose Yes, to proceed wiping cache
    7. Reboot

After wiping cache, do a complete few battery cycle (let the phone go down as low as 4% and charge it completely 100%), this will calibrate your battery, after 5 cycles, normally your phone's battery should start to work normal.

    No I am not.
And what kind of question is this?
First of all where are some screenshots with this draining?
Secondly, what sort of answers do u expect? For sure some will say yes and some will say no. You have to be more specific.

I beg to differ. There are plenty of solutions other than downgrading. And they're only one search away.

Can't argue with you, with updates there may be a few bugs now and then, but after a major upgrade, do a clean install, after you backup your important data like photos and music and the phone will feel fresh again
