You say that it dies at 20%. How can you let it drain till 0%?
IPhone users recently suffered the same issue due to an issue in their latest ios. But only a few users faced this. They fixed it via ota.
Your issue is mostly a software bug.

    Can you try this?
    - Settings > Battery > Battery saver > Turn on automatically at (15/20%). Choose one % value at a time and see if it makes any difference.
As your phone is dying at 20%, choose 15% for battery saver and see if this stops your phone from dying. It could be a bug in the battery saver software module which is powering it off.

    Turn “OFF” the OnePlus 3

Press and hold the Power/Lock button at the same time until you see the “OnePlus 3″ logo

When the logo shows up, immediately hold the Volume Down button, while releasing the Power button

Keep holding the Volume Down until your phone finishes rebooting

If it was loaded successful, a “Safe Mode” will show on the bottom left corner of the screen

Let go of the Volume Down button

To exit “Safe Mode” press the Power/Lock key and then touch Restart

    there you go mate.[e]1f604[/e]

After the update like everyone i am also facing those problems in my OP3t. Such as-

    1. Taking too long time to charge than before.
    2. Heating issue after using few minutes.
    3. Charger & phone getting hot while charging.
    4. Battery status not shown correctly in battery option.

Most people suggest to keep less software installed & run. But there's no change by doing this.

If we can't use lots of application in a smartphone with this price range, so for what uses this device?

We thought that we can use OP3 & OP3t without any issue or any confusion. The OP company made OP3 & OP3t like a beast. So it is the hightime to ask some questions to the #OnePlus team members. How can you people do this to the OP users? Why u people couldn't give us a update without any issues? We had a lots of faith in your smartphone. But now you just ruined that. As my opinion the #ONEPLUS wants to be worst from best.

I'm also having this issue. Battery dies in like 1 minute after reaching 10-15%. I've tried charge/discharges but nothing works.

    don't do that
.coz the battery is lithium ion battery..and letting it die without charging will decrease one battery cycle..and that's not at all gud for a mobile phone...so get checked ur battery..some defect I guess.[e]1f603[/e]
